David Fitzgerald is a self-taught artist. Born in 1967 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He spent much of his formative in England. David took to art as soon as he was able to hold a pencil. Throughout his childhood, David developed an appreciation for his surroundings. He would often sit in trees for hours and wonder how to get down. Years of artistic expression made it clear that David's  life would be centered upon his passion for art. After high school, David attended The University of Minnesota and The University of North Dakota. He then traveled Europe where he discovered art is life.

  David is a professional artist full-time and works with The Curator at The Swedish American Institute assisting in exhibit installations and also with a conservator preserving and maintaining sculptures around Minneapolis/St.Paul,Rochester area.
